$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible new employees joining UW Medicine

UW Medical Center–Northwest - Long Term Civil Commitment Unit is hiring Psychiatric Registered Nurses!

WORK SCHEDULE

  • 3x12 shift schedule (36 hours per week)
  • Rotating weekend shifts required
  • Multiple positions available. We are currently hiring RNs can work straight days (7:00am-7:30pm) or straight nights (7:00pm-7:30am)

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Triage incoming patients
  • Provide behavioral health education to psychiatric patients and their families
  • Ensure patient safety protocols are followed, including restraint protocols
  • Monitor and administer oral and injectable medications
  • Coordinate patient care with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and occupational therapists
  • Provide personalized care to psychiatric patients with compassion, dignity, and respect

REQUIREMENTS

  • 1 year of behavioral health RN work experience
  • Active licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse in Washington State
  • Active BLS
